It is the injustice of the cross and penal substitution rather than the justice of the cross that ends sacrifice… If Jesus deserved to take our place, the suffering would have satisfied no justice but the suffering that is undeserved broke the curse that bound us to redemptive violence. It is a mystical truth, that the injustice of the cross satisfies the demand for justice once and for all but will you accept that truth or do you chose to live under the law and death?
